General Roofing Company was established by my grandfather, Jacob Wakerling nearly 100 years ago. He firmly believed in three principles; Craftsmanship, Integrity and Reliability. Those standards found to be so important then are what enables us to continue to serve our customers successfully. Four generations of our family have participated in building a company to be proud of.

We are a forward thinking company with traditional business values.  Staying on the cutting edge of technology, together with our knowledge, enables us to tailor our customers’ experience to their specific needs. Establishing confidence and trust with our customers throughout the years has also given us the opportunity to complete literally thousands of residential and commercial roofing projects in the greater Bay Area.

Celebrating the spirit of Jacob, honoring my father, Howard and welcoming my son, Shane as an integral part of the future of our company, I am very proud to continue the legacy of General Roofing Company.
